One of the most popular photos and stories I have collected over the years is, as people simply call it, “the nuns.”

Summer Is Here, Nun Too Soon

There’s a fun photo party next Thursday, where the winners of the Crispin Cool Photography contest will be on display, as well as some of the work of the judges (myself, Kate Iverson, Howard Christopherson, Kristin Henning, and Joe Heron).
The party, open to all, is hosted by Secrets of the City (the Rake magazine online); Crispin Natural Hard Apple Cider; and the new Filipino restaurant, Subo.
I’ll be there from 5:30 ’til around 7.

22 of my photog peers and me have participated in Wing’s Saturday Salons and are now joining together for our first show.

Wing is perhaps best known for his Lake Street large-format show, and is now working on a University Street project.

Our show runs through November 3 (coincidentally, my BD) and is available by appointment, if you can’t come on Oct 3 and 10th.
